Weekend at RPI

Last weekend, I went to RPI to visit Devan. We went to the Troy Waterfront Farmer's Market and ate chocolate covered Belgium waffles, sampled cheese and other foods from the vendors. On Sunday, we went to Illium Cafe and I ordered berries over French toast, which was delicious. I love visiting RPI and will be back again soon!

Happy traveling,
Stephanie

Karen and Stephanie Take RPI

Last weekend, Karen and I made the three hour bus trip to Rensselear Polytechnic Institute to visit our friends Devan and Farid. We experienced the standard collegiate lifestyle by going to a frat party and walking around the campus (and using communal bathrooms).  Regardless, it was great to be reunited with fellow SBHS alumni.

Karen and Stephanie Makin' it in America

Last weekend, Karen and I had the opportunity to work at Made In America, a music festival organized by Jay Z, thanks to our lovely friend Victoria. We worked the information booth and answered any questions festival goers had and passed out brochures with the map and lineup. The best part of the job was being able to see artists like Phoenix, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Robert Delong perform while still getting paid! That plus the amazing frozen yogurt at the festival, we had literally five cups. This experience was honestly worth the 8+ hours we spent on the train and bus commuting from New York to Philly to New Jersey (to sleep over at Rutgers at our friends' dorm) to Philly and back to New York. Such a spontaneous yet memorable adventure.
