On November 19, 2013, just hours before Stephanie's birthday (and my dreaded Uighur term paper deadline), we had the opportunity to see Metric at the Bowery Ballroom! We were both given press passes from the Washington Square News to collaborate for an article on the WSN Highlighter. You can check it out here.
It was great being able to unwind with some live music after a day of classes. Before attending the show, I had only heard of one song, "Black Sheep," featured in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The electric energy from the show, however, has really pushed me to revamp my current spotify playlist with some of Metric's greatest hits.
