Throwback Thursday: The MoMA

In the beginning of July, I had the pleasure of doing of a photoshoot with my cousin Monica and my friend (and favorite go-to photographer) Megan. We were set on doing on a shoot in the world renowned "Rain Room," but a brush with a five hour line quickly changed our plans. We ended up going through the museum, hunting for interesting pieces of artwork and equally as interesting locations to shoot. My personal favorite was a video room we discovered on one of the lower levels. Here, there were beautiful videos of elephants, projected onto plain white walls (see bottom photo).

If you're into art, I definitely recommend that you check out the MoMA. There's great discounts for local college students and it's free for anyone 16 and under!

Happy discoveries,
Karen
